Happy Holidays

I love the holiday season but sometimes it is hard to keep up! Last night we had a sit and sew staff party at Ginger’s Quilt Shoppe. What a great idea, a chance to socilize and still get some of our stuff done. Brilliant idea Ginger and Linda.

In November we had fun with the Holiday Star Tabletopper class. Judy Umbro who was in the Double Irish chain class showed off her finished top and in the photos you can see Judy’s irish chain and Karen Dupont’s completed center square for the Holiday Star.

I have been working on a really cute wonky Christmas tree wall hanging for myself and a fun applique project for a new class. This project is 3 mini quilts that hang in a wire frame. They form a triptych scene when placed together in the frame or can be hung individually. This class we will try to squeeze in sometime in January and I will post the pictures as soon as I have it complete.  So check out the new class pages for “Prairie Points and Patches” and “Stars in Stripes”  and check back in about 2 weeks for the winter triptych photos. Have a Merry Christmas and A joyous New Year.  I look forward to having you in class.
